Marcos Soto's Background will Make this Court Better

Our Dallas County Justice of the Peace courts work better when those sitting on the bench have a background in the law, and trial experience. Seasoned attorney Marcos Soto will bring these qualifications, along with a commitment to fairness, to Dallas County Justice of the Peace Precinct 5 Place 2.

Soto currently serves as a litigation attorney in Dallas, handling civil matters. He has also worked as a personal injury trial lawyer representing the rights of individuals.

Soto is a graduate of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, and holds a bachelor's degree from St. Edwards University in Austin. He has 10 years of legal experience. He has been named a "Rising Star" by the Mexican American Bar Association among other awards. He is active in a range of legal organizations including: Mexican American Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.

In the community, Soto has served on the board of Bella Gardens, as an organizer for American Federation of Teachers, and as a Democratic campaign volunteer.
